As a leader in higher arts education, the College of Fine Arts continues to prepare its students to engage successfully with local and international communities and to transform the professions through critical inquiry and creative production. These creative productions often result in opportunities for students, faculty, alumni and professionals to engage in unique and diverse ways with the community. The community is welcomed to attend any of the School of Music's 300 concerts; or the School of Architecture, Art or Design's lectures, studio tours or exhibitions, as well as the School of Drama's stage productions and the numerous events generated through the associated centers. The Miller Gallery at Carnegie Mellon supports the creation, understanding and growth of contemporary art through exhibitions, projects, lectures, events and publications. The gallery aspires to engage diverse audiences and to create and strengthen communities through art and ideas.
