Synopsis
Founded in 1904 in Natrona, Pennsylvania along the Allegheny River north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania the Natrona Bottling Company has been manufacturing premium soda pop for over a century. The Micro-crafted beverages are produced using cane sugar and flavored extracts. The filtered water is carbonated using a dry ice pin-point carbonation process. An experienced Master Bottler over sees production and maintains the glass bottling machinery. Red Ribbon Cherry, Root Beer, Grape, Plantation Style Mint Julep, Pennsylvania Punch, Jamaica's Finest Ginger Beer and Champayno are hand packed in cases. PA Preferred Program member.
Overview
The NATRONA BOTTLING COMPANY, located at 91 River Ave Natrona, PA, produces its Red Ribbon line of Original Cherry Supreme, Home Brewed Style Root Beer and Sodium Free Grape. Other products include Bauser Champayno a non-alcoholic champagne flavored beverage, Plantatio Style Mint Julep, a refreshing mint mixer and soda, Jamaica's Finest Ginger Beer, an invigorating spicy mixer and soda and Pennsylvania Punch, a 1924 grape based punch recipe. All beverages are made with cane sugar and are caffeine free. A dry ice carbonation process is used to create pin-point carbonated filtered water.
The company has been featured in the PBS show "What Makes Pittsburgh Pittsburgh?," produced by WQED's Rick Sebak and also on KDKA TV's "KD Country," featuring Dave Crawley. Natrona Bottling Company has been featured in several local newspapers, national and international publications. The products are marketed nationwide through a major distridutor, Galco's Soda Pop Stop in Los Angeles, CA. Founded in 1904 Natrona Bottling Company is the last glass soda pop bottling company in Allegheny County and is member of the PA Preferred Program.
