Neumeyer Environmental Services, Inc. is a Pittsburgh-based corporation that has played an ongoing part in the renaissance of Pittsburgh for almost 30 years through a dedicated focus on environmental remediation. Neumeyer Environmental has worked with companies, corporations and government (HJ Heinz, Delmonte, ALCOA, Westinghouse, Neville Chemical, Penn DOT, PA Turnpike and The Port Authority of Allegheny County) to improve the environmental status across Pennsylvania and the Northeastern United States, through remediation, redevelopment and abatement. This effort has allowed Pittsburgh to become one of the best ‘come-back' cities in the history of the United States.

Neumeyer Environmental Services, Inc. founder and president, Fred C. Neumeyer, began his focus on environmental issues in 1980. For the last 30 years, Neumeyer Environmental has developed expertise in regulated materials management, that coexist in industrial and commercial settings, including:

3. Removal and disposal of petroleum pollutants
4. Inorganic based pollutants (organics)

Today, Neumeyer Environmental employs experts in regulated materials management from a wide variety of industries to manage storage tanks, asbestos, hazardous materials and other specializations in 26 states.

Neumeyer Environmental has been a part of many pivotal projects in the renaissance of Pittsburgh from major roadway projects to industrial redevelopment of the many steel-making facilities in the area. Neumeyer Environmental is currently performing demolition of the first full scale atomic electric power plant in the world and providing remediation services of the tank farm for one of the largest producers of hydrocarbon resins and solutions in the world, both in the Pittsburgh area.
